During 16 – 19 March, a small team of Pedare Middle and Senior School students competed in the FIRST Robotics Competition in Sydney. This was a huge competition against 50 other teams from around the world, which required students to build robots that perform in a competitive environment against the other teams.
As a rookie team, we were in the unique situation of knowing very little about the competition. Pedare’s robot, “Sir Lance a Little” did an admirable job; however, placing our robotics team at Rank 20 by the end of the competition.
